Khushi couldn't understand why Garima making her ready all of a sudden. She was asked to wear party dress which confused her more. She got her answer when she saw Rohit Negi in GH. She started shivering. This is what she feared of. Seems like Shashi Gupta is more firm in his decision than what she thought.

Shashi: Come on beta, everything is your favorite food today.

Khushi raised her head couldn't believe what she just heard. This is the first time, Shashi called her BETA lovingly. Even though she knew it was for Rohit she liked it and smiled. She didn't even look at Rohit no matter how hard he tried. Rohit liked it. He was flat seeing Khushi.

Shashi: Rohit... She is Khushi, my daughter.

Khushi smiled looking down nervously.

Shashi: There is no necessary to introduce Rohit as he is a popular figure. (He laughed as if it was a big joke) but it's my duty to introduce him to you Beta. He is Rohit. only son of Karan Negi.

He patted Rohit's back.

Garima: Of course who doesn't know him?

Garima dragged Khushi and made her sit beside Rohit. Khushi was scared like hell.

Rohit: In which college are you studying Khushi?

Khushi: St. George College.

Rohit: Ohh. It's very near to our party office. Tell me if anyone does mischievous with you. I will show them hell.

Khushi didn't say anything but gulped her uneasiness. Obviously, she thought about Arnav. What will Arnav do if he got to know about Rohit?

Rishi: No one does mischievous with Di because she is so nice.

Rohit: Seems so.

He said running his eyes on her which Rishi didn't like.

Shashi: Shall we start?

Rohit: Sure.

After having dinner, Rohit started chitchatting with Guptas.

Rohit: Wait aunty. I have something for you guys.

He called his driver and asked him to bring the gifts from the car. He distributed it one by one.

Garima: So sweet of you Rohit dear. Thank you.

Rohit: It's my pleasure.

Rohit asked them to open their gifts. Garima's jaw dropped seeing diamond necklace set. Rishi didn't show interest on his gift "play station 4" because he already had one. Khushi was hesitating to open her gift. Rohit took it from her hand and opened it. There was a beautiful Ruby bracelet in it.

Rohit: Hope you like it.

Khushi smiled at him without saying anything.

Shashi gestured Garima. She nodded yes.

Garima: I'm sure; it will be stunning in her hand.

Khushi hurriedly wore it in her hand before Garima asked Rohit to do it. It really looked stunning on her beautiful hand as Garima said. Red Ruby stones made her white skin more beautiful. Rohit looked at his watch. It was 9:45 pm.

Rohit: I got to go uncle. I have an important work to be done on your soap issue. See you again.

Shashi: Thank you Rohit.

Rohit: Pleasure is all mine Uncle.

Guptas came out to give him send off. Rohit slowed down his steps and stood in front of Khushi. Clutching her hand, he leaned towards her,

Rohit(looking at her bracelet smirking): "Blessed Bracelet". Bye darling.

He left GH leaving nervous Khushi.

Staring at the Ruby bracelet, Khushi was sitting on the bed without getting sleep. She has to open it up to Arnav. He would feel bad if she didn't say it to him. She lied on the bed closing her eyes thinking about talking to Arnav about Rohit the next day.

Next day

Arnav was talking with Akash and Aman. There, Khushi's car entering inside. She stepped out of the car. Arnav waited until her car left. She looked at him and got embarrassed thinking about her yesterday's act. She stopped seeing him coming towards her with a paper bag. She looked down couldn't able to face him. Arnav saw her gulping and he knew why.

Arnav: Khushi....

She lifted her head and looked at him. He gave her the bag and she took it from him confusingly.

Arnav: Go and change it in the girl's room. I'm waiting outside college campus.

He didn't wait there for her acceptance nor did Khushi deny him. She went to Girl's room and came changing. It was a suit which was totally opposite to her Style of dressing. She came out of the campus. Arnav was waiting for her sitting on his bike.

Arnav: Cover your face with shawl. So that no one could spot you.

Now Khushi understood why he chose this kind of dress, "He didn't want anybody recognize her". She covered her face with shawl. Arnav started the bike and gestured her to sit. Khushi sat behind him keeping her palm on his shoulder. She was ready for the "first bike ride". Absolutely it was so awesome. 

After a long ride they came out of the city. There was a small temple. A lamp was being kept inside the temple. That place gave her a pleasant feel. It was almost being hidden by bushes and trees. She was so happy to come here. They sat on the cement bench.

Khushi(excitedly): This place is so good. I had never seen such a peaceful place.

Arnav was looking at her amazingly as she looks so happy like ever before. She was literally enjoying that place. Smooth breeze caressed her face pleasantly which she never experienced before.

Khushi: How did you find this place?

Arnav: Dad brought me here when I was small. That time this place was being maintained well.

Khushi: Mmmm.

Arnav: How are you feeling now?

Khushi: I'm alright.

Arnav: I'm sorry. I didn't know that you were...

Khushi (cutting him): I know Arnav. You would not have got upset if you had known the truth.

Arnav (nodded yes with remorse): Why did you get fits? Do you get it often?

Khushi: I get fits if I'm extremely stressful.

Arnav: What happened that day which stressed you to that extend?

Khushi (hesitatingly): Dad is planning my marriage with...

Arnav (cutting her): Rohit Negi.

Khushi (stunned): How do you know?

Arnav: Didn't I say, if I get into the LOVE then you will be MINE?

Khushi: I'm scared Arnav.

Arnav: You don't have to be. I'm here to handle everything.

Khushi: but how will you handle? Do you know how powerful they are?

Arnav: I too will be powerful if you stand by my side.

Khushi: Trust me. I don't want anything other than YOU. I will do anything to be with you.

Arnav looked at her sternly which churned Khushi's stomach. She got embarrassed and tuned her gaze somewhere. She diverted the topic.

Khushi: I like this place so much. It feels like I want to sleep here.

Arnav: Then sleep. Come on, lie down on my lap.

Saying he drew her on his lap. At first, she was panicked at his sudden action and tried to get up. Arnav pressed her head on his thigh and started caressing her hair to make her relaxed. In few seconds, Arnav felt wetness on his thigh over his jeans. He saw Khushi was silently sobbing which made him tensed. Until few minutes ago, she looked happy. Suddenly what happen to her?

Arnav: Khushi.. hey... what's wrong? Do you remember your parents? Do you want to go home?

Khushi(nodded no): if I have a chance to stay with you then I will never go home. I.... I... had never lied on anyone's lap like this. This is the first time I got this chance in my life. That's what made me emotional.

Arnav's was taken aback. A girl never lied on anyone's lap? How could it be possible?

Arnav(with disbelief): Not even in your mother's lap? But Payal told me she pampers you a lot?

Khushi bit her lips to control her tears.

Arnav(cupping her face): Khushi I ask you something.

Khushi leaned on his shoulder sobbing.

Arnav: Khushi how can I know the truth until you say anything?

Khushi(wiping her tears): leave it Arnav. We are here to celebrate your missed birthday right? Let's do it.

Arnav: But Khushi...

Khushi: Please Arnav. I already spoilt your Birthday. I don't want to repeat it.

Arnav: You didn't spoil it Khushi. Forget it. I just want to know about you.

Khushi: I too want you to know about me and I want to pour everything to you but not today. This is our first date. I want it to be memorable. Please.

She removed a box which was wrapped by a glitter paper.

Seems like, what he guessed is right. She must be in stress. Arnav wanted to know everything before it slips from his hand. But she may cry again which he didn't want. Don't know why his heart goes weak whenever he sees her sad face. She handed the gift to him.

Khushi: open it.

Arnav opened it. It was a watch. "Simple watch". He looked at her trying hard not to show his confusion.

Khushi: I bought it from my savings. Sorry, I couldn't afford you a costly watch.

This is another puzzle. The famous business man's daughter is lack of money? What the.... This time, he confirmed that he misses something very sensitive.

Arnav: Anything given by you is matter to me. It's so nice.

He gave it back to her. Khushi looked at him disappointed.

Arnav: What are you looking for? Tie it.

He extended his wrist towards her. Khushi nodded yes smilingly and made him wear the watch on his wrist.

Arnav took out a box from his bag. Khushi's eyes went wide open in happiness when she saw jalebies in it.

Arnav: Mom's preparation.

Khushi: I like jalebies so much...

Arnav: I know. That's why I asked mom to prepare.

Khsuhi: How do you know? I never told you that.

Arnav: Nothing is more important than knowing about you for me (pressing her hand softly) because I love you so much.

Again Arnav saw her eyes tear up. He couldn't come to any conclusion that why she gets emotional easily. She ate the jelabie turning her face opposite to him hiding her tears. After that, Arnav didn't ask her anything to make her cry.

Khushi finished the jelabies. She really enjoyed the place like a kid, running here and there, plucking flowers, throwing stones...

Arnav looked at his watch.

Arnav: Chalen? We have to go the college before your car came.

Khushi nodded yes half heartedly. She clutched his wrist meeting his eyes. Arnav raised his eye brows at her like "what?" Khushi cuddled him smilingly and Arnav reciprocated it.

After spending their valuable time with each other they started back. But Khushi was not like before. 

 This time she got pleasure from the ride with Arnav. Arnav was dumb founded seeing her so free with him. When they entered into the city limit, she again covered her face and leaned on his shoulder while her hands snaked his waist slowly. Arnav could sense she did that with a divine feel.

Arnav dropped her in the collage. She went to girl's room and got changed again. She got inside the car which was waiting for her. With a sweet smile she looked at Arnav who was already gazing at her, she looked so happy and relaxed like ever before.

Arnav rushed inside the college after Khushi left. He was searching for Payal. He wanted to know everything about Khushi. Everything means everything... without leaving anything....

Today's Inkitt update

After giving send off to Khushi, Arnav directly came to the canteen expecting his gang and his guess was right. He found Payal, Akash and Aman in the canteen chit chatting. They smiled seeing Arnav. Payal was delighted seeing Khushi's watch in Arnav's wrist.

Aman: How was your first date Buddy?

Arnav: Amazing.

Payal: Where is Khushi?

Arnav: She left.

Payal (looking at her watch): Ohh yah.

Akash(curiously) : Any jelabies left?

Arnav nodded NO and Akash pouted.
