Lola practically dragged the two taller children to Bridgette's house, even though she didn't know where it was. The brunette girl gave the other girl directions as she led. Finally, the door unlocked to Bridgette's house, and her mom was the first in view. Seeing this from Mrs. Evans's perspective, she was confused as to why a girl whom she had never seen before was the first to fill her sight.
'Hi, Mom.' Bridgette peeped from behind Lola and her huge smile.
'Hi, Bridgette.' She replied, apparently still confused.
'Hi, Mrs. Evans.' Theo squeaked on Lola's opposite side.
'Hi, Theo.' She responded to Theo.
'Hi, Mrs. Evans.' Lola said with her energetic voice.
'Hi.' Mrs. Evans faintly, and very quickly smiled.
Soon enough, the trio were in Bridgette's celestial-coloured room.
Lola sat Bridgette down onto the floor, but almost threw Theo next to her. Gently, the short girl tucked her skirt onto the back of her knees and sat on Bridgette's bed.
'Now,' she said, 'May I have an explanation?'
Before speaking, Bridgette glanced at Theo but then began with saying,
'He called me crazy.'
Lola looked taken aback from the words the brunette had blurted straight at her, and blinked twice.
'Okay....' She replied, then turned to Theo.
'And why did you call her crazy?'
Theo stared at the bed for a second, then at the girl on the bed.
'Because she is.' He simply said.
Lola had her eyes narrowed at this point.
'What makes you think that?'
Theo lightly and slightly rolled his eyes at this response, but answered the question anyway. He hurriedly explained the cause of the situation they were in to Lola.
Suddenly, she sat back straight. Then, she turned to Bridgette.
'Well. Bridgette, you're crazy.'
Bridgette, who was now leaning against her wall, sharply turned to Lola, face pressed back against her neck. She opened her mouth for a reply, but Lola interrupted,
'But, I can understand your curiosity. You want to cross the edge, right?'
Bridgette pursed her lips and faintly nodded.
'Well, if that is what it's going to be for you two to be out of conflict, then we're crossing.'
'Hi, Mom.' Bridgette peeped from behind Lola and her huge smile.
